General Cell Characteristics:
- Ni-Cd "VR", "VE" and "VRE" series
Engineered for cycling applications, Saft's "VR", "VE" and "VRE" series can be used for a wide range of applications. "VRE" series are well adapted for both cycling and permanent applications requiring a permanent charge at temperature of up to +35°C. They are mainly used in tools, toys, portable devices, home appliances.
- Ni-Cd "VSE" series
To create significant capacity gains, sintered electrode technology have been upgraded and implemented with nickel foam elechtrode technology. The result is an high energy battery recommended for the widest range of portable device applications.
- Ni-Cd "VT" series
These cells accept a permanent charge at high temperature applications such as emergency lights or U.P.S.
- Ni-Cd "NC" series
For general and consumer use.
- Ni-MH "VH" series
For high capacity use, they are manufactured for telecommunications and other portable applications which demand fast charge and discharge over a prolonged lifetime. In particular the VHCS3000 is designed for applications requiring fast charge and high discharge rates up to 40A.
- Ni-MH "NMH" series
For general and consumer use.
- Rechargeable Button Cells series
Ni-Cd and Ni-MH button cells have been designed for permanent charge in memory back-up applications, cordless phones and portable devices.
- Rechargeable Li-Ion cells
Designed to meet the highest performance needs in hi-tech portable electronic devices, Li-Ion cells offer the most efficient energy density, light weight and very low self discharge, providing up to three times more power than other technologies. Main applications are in cellular phones, camcorders, computers, professional portable devices, measuring instruments.
